Job Description
The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating stationary or traveling cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads during offshore construction operations. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and precise handling to ensure the integrity of the load and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes efficiently to lift, move, and position heavy loads as per project requirements.
- Ensure loads are properly secured before lifting and safely positioned upon placement.
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment regularly to ensure safe operations.
- Follow operational procedures and safety guidelines for offshore crane operations.
- Communicate effectively with riggers, deck crew, and supervisors to coordinate load movements.

- Maintain detailed records of crane operations and report any mechanical issues.
Skill & Experience
- Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and H2S certificates.
- Internationally recognized offshore crane operation certificate
- Minimum of 5 years of offshore construction experience as a crane operator.
- Proficiency in handling various types of cranes used in offshore operations.
