Welder foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder Foreman to oversee welding operations in the marine and offshore industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine welding processes, possess the required certifications, and be capable of supervising and guiding a team of skilled workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead skilled workers in welding and grinding tasks.
- Perform and inspect 6GR+, dioxy, and handle welding per approved WPS.
- Ensure welding equipment and consumables are properly maintained.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols, including hot work and confined space requirements.
- Maintain records of welding activities and certifications.
Skill & Experience
- Skilled worker with QE-approved welding and grinding certificates.
- Expertise in 6GR+, dioxy welding, and handle welding.
- Understanding of welding processes and standards.
- Valid BOSIET and H2S certifications.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in marine or offshore welding.
